Pierhead Housing has been providing good quality homes for people in real housing need across Merseyside since 1971.
Over this time, we have built up a reputation as a prominent local housing provider.
We’re committed to providing a first class service for our tenants. This means ensuring that our rents are affordable, our properties are always high quality and our housing and maintenance services are delivered quickly, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Pierhead is committed to improving the lives of the community it serves
through housing and neighbourhood initiatives and is a key player in
landmark urban regeneration schemes across Merseyside, which it has the
vision and expertise to deliver.
We currently own and manage over 1800 properties in Liverpool, Sefton
and the Wirral. Working with specialist local agencies we ensure that
the most vulnerable people are able to access appropriate housing for
their circumstances, and receive the extra support that they need.
The Association provides accommodation for general needs, the elderly, students, special needs and key workers at affordable rents for the target group. Principal recipients of the Association's services are those in severe housing need determined by their own personal circumstances.
Our exciting and diverse major development programme focuses on key
landmark regeneration projects, which support local economic revival.
Each of these schemes addresses an acute housing need, and in addition
to our own resources, are supported by financial backing from The Housing
Corporation, local authorities, SRB and ERDF.
